Today, Cloosiv is officially becoming Odeko. Our expanded team has been working non-stop since the merger to ensure we’d be able to relaunch our mobile app on September 1, and that’s exactly what they did. We’re in awe of them, truly.
All that work wasn’t just to relaunch a mobile app. See, the Odeko app is the foundation for bringing our customers more meaningfully into the coffee community. We view this app not just as a tool that makes ordering easy for consumers, but as a gateway to the makers, farmers, roasters, and artisan baristas that rely on every customer and every cup sold.
So, not only did the team successfully rebrand the Cloosiv mobile app, they were also able to include a major update—all of our coffee shop partners can now offer web ordering, too. Web ordering gives us the same abilities as sites like Ritual and ChowNow, and allows customers to place an order from any device browser, eliminating the need to download an app or even create an Odeko account. Ultimately, this will make it easier for customers to discover nearby locations, and just like our mobile app, Odeko Web Ordering is by far the most cost-effective option available today.
Odeko started with supply chain management, and we’re not resting on our laurels there. We’ve got a new direct buying catalog, for easier management through the current crisis, and new tools to keep our lines running smoothly and, just as importantly, at the best costs for our partners.
We’re constantly looking for ways to make everyone’s experience with our platform better—for all our partners and their customers. This continual process of improvement will drive more people to local coffee shops, bakeries and cafés in their communities. Shop local, every cup counts!
